Born and bred in Detroit, I've called this city my home my entire life. I've seen the highs and lows, the resilience and the creativity that define Detroit. It's a place that inspires me every day.
My journey in Detroit media began in 2011, and what a ride it's been! Over the years, I've had the privilege of working with some incredible startups and emerging brands. I've seen these businesses take their first steps toward success, thanks in part to the power of a strong brand.
My journey to where I am today began with an unexpected twist during my freshman year at Oakland University. Picture this: I was en route to a midterm exam, focused on my studies and aspirations of becoming a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
However, destiny had other plans. While driving, I tuned in to Channel 955 and found myself listening to Mojo in the Morning, a renowned radio host, as he fired an intern live on the radio and began a search for their replacement. In that instant, my life changed forever.
Without hesitation, I made a call that would grant me a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity – to intern on the biggest radio show in Detroit, all at the age of 18, fresh out of high school. It was an exhilarating leap into the world of media and entertainment.
Now, a quick note: I strongly advocate for the value of education and completing your studies. I'm proud to say that I earned my Marketing degree four years later, balancing full-time academics with essentially two full-time jobs – one in radio and the other as a sandwich artist at Subway.
That transformative moment instilled in me the spirit of hustle and determination that defines my approach today. From radio intern to entrepreneur, I've carried that ethos with me.
The Genesis of Print House Detroit
Print House Detroit didn't start as a grand vision; it began as a series of conversations and connections. Working in the entertainment industry allowed me to build amazing networks and relationships. Soon, people started coming to me for advice on where to get custom t-shirts made. I became the middleman, connecting them with reliable suppliers. It was in this role that I discovered my passion for the industry.

As I got busier and busier connecting people with quality custom clothing and promotional products, I realized that this was more than just a side gig. It was a calling. I wanted to do more than point people in the right direction; I wanted to be the destination itself. And so, Print House Detroit was born.
